On October 28, the Lions Club transformed its regular meeting into a Halloween extravaganza that was filled with food, fun, and festivities. This year, our Halloween party was orchestrated by the Party Planning Committee, chaired by the spirited Lion Tammy Hart and co-chaired by the vivacious Sarah McGinley, who also served as the evening’s master of ceremonies.

A Night to Remember

As the members gathered, the usual order of operations was happily interrupted by the Halloween cheer that filled the air. Dressed in an array of creative costumes, attendees participated in the Pledge of Allegiance, the Lions Toast, and a prayer before diving into the evening’s delicious spread. The dinner menu delighted with a tossed salad, an array of pizzas, and a delightful assortment of desserts that satisfied every sweet tooth in attendance.

Games, Prizes, and Plenty of Surprises

The night was just getting started as Lion Sarah McGinley kicked off a series of games that had everyone at the edge of their seats. From group table games to ticket drawings, there was something for everyone. By the end of the evening, over two dozen prizes had found new homes, making for many happy Lions. The Connellsville Lions Club Halloween party was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the camaraderie, spirit, and dedication of its members.
