Project Overview
The Connellsville Cares initiative is anchored in the belief that even the smallest community interaction can create an experience that fosters connection. This unique service project by the Connellsville Leo Club is dedicated to uplifting individuals in our community who may need encouragement or support through small acts of kindness, compassion, and connection.
Our mission is to serve by delivering acts of service in two impactful ways:
Cards of Connection
Strengthening community bonds with heartfelt, hand-written messages designed to uplift spirits, foster meaningful connections, and remind individuals they are not alone.
Community Care Kits
Providing essential items and comfort to individuals in our community facing challenges such as foster care transitions, homelessness or transitional living, and senior isolation.
