On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the Connellsville Lions Club proudly joined hands with community partners to support the annual Heart to Hope Telethon, benefitting Connellsville Area Community Ministries. This cherished local event brings the community together in a united effort to raise critical funds for individuals and families in need, and we were honored to play a role.
In collaboration with Farris Distributor, Martin’s Grocery Store, and Cash Saver Grocery Store, our club donated a variety of food and beverages to fuel the hardworking volunteers behind the scenes of the telethon. A special thank you goes out to Lions Tammy Hart and Sarah McGinley, who prepared homemade cookies with love, and to Lions Tammy and Beth, who coordinated the pickup and delivery of all donated items that morning.
The delivery included:
- Breakfast trays with fresh coffee and creamer
- Lunch trays filled with assorted sandwiches
- A colorful fruit tray and crisp vegetable tray
- Freshly baked cookies
- Beverages and paper products to keep things running smoothly
At the Connellsville Lions Club, we believe that being of service means showing up when our community needs us—and the Heart to Hope Telethon is a shining example of what can happen when people come together with compassion and purpose.
We are proud to have supported this meaningful fundraiser and wish the team at Connellsville Community Ministries continued success in their incredible work. Here's to raising lots and lots of hope, and funds, for those who need it most.
