As part of the Connellsville Chamber of Commerce's weekly Farmers Market, our community had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful additional event – Kids Fest! The festive evening was filled with exciting activities tailored for our youngest community members, including a bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals. It’s always a joy to see the smiles these attractions bring to children’s faces.

Our Connellsville Lions Club played a significant part in making the evening special. We set up a free fish pond that was incredibly popular with the kids. Alongside, we sold refreshing snow cones for just $1 each, with all proceeds going directly to support the Connellsville Chamber of Commerce. We’re so proud to be able to contribute to such a worthwhile cause while also bringing joy to the community.

Below are some fantastic moments captured during the event:

  • Kids Fest The Kids Fest was buzzing with excitement as children enjoyed the bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals.
  • Lion Tammy Hart worked the Fish Pond, along with other club members, making sure every kid had a fantastic time fishing for prizes.
  • One of our first customers was thanks to Lion Sarah’s granddaughter and Lion Tammy’s great-granddaughter, Lilly, enjoying a snow cone at our booth.
  • We had a comfortable setup with a tent, shade, and a nice breeze that kept everyone cool and happy. Everyone pitched in to make the evening a success, and it was so rewarding to see our efforts appreciated by both kids and parents alike.

Overall, the evening was a resounding success, filled with laughter, fun, and community bonding. We look forward to more such engaging events that not only offer entertainment but also support our local initiatives.
